Sarah Knoetig
As the daughter of a photographer, Sarah Knoetig was telling stories through a camera before she could even walk properly. After graduating from high school in Bretten in 2018, she completed an internship at BadenTV, a local news broadcaster in Karlsruhe.
To deepen her passion for fictional storytelling, she began a bachelor's degree in Film Directing at London South Bank University in 2020. Alongside her studies, she spent three years working for JWProductions, a video production company specializing in West End theatre, where she expanded her skills in cinematography and editing.
Sarah also remained active in filmmaking in Germany, teaching young people aged 12 to 17 the fundamentals of directing at the Arendsee Youth Film Camp. In 2024, she returned to Germany to further develop her distinctive cinematic voice at the Hamburg Media School.
