When emergency room nurse Songül learns that her estranged husband is coming by to pick up his belongings, she decides to stay at work late, hoping to avoid running into him.
To pass the time, she helps an elderly man search for his missing granddaughter. But what begins as a chance encounter turns into a journey that forces Songül to confront something far deeper: the judgmental voice of a patriarchal system she has internalized over the years.
Gradually, Songül begins to realize just how deeply these structures have shaped her thoughts and her perception of herself — and how a patriarchal legacy has conditioned her to blame herself first whenever something goes wrong.
