About BEYOND Symposium
The BEYOND Festival is a creative fusion of science, technology, art and economy, an experimental laboratory of new art forms and reflections on the social impact of new technologies in a regional and global context.
At the 9th International Symposium-Future Design and Film Festival-Climate Change from 23rd to 26th July 2020 BEYOND will stage a triad of science, art and technology with the aim to create a better future.
Both events, Film Festival and Symposium will be broadcasted virtually, live and online worldwide from July 23rd to 26th, 2020.
However, “climate change” here does not only mean global warming and the expected mass extinction of biological life forms, but also the change of the political climate through populism and nationalism, the shift of the geopolitical climate towards Asia, the change of the climate at work through robotization and artificial intelligence, the shift of the social climate through COVID-19, as well as the climate between individual and state through the convergence of info-, bio- and nanotechnology.
Together we can shape a new, sustainable future. We think BEYOND.
